On September 14th, "Synchrotron Beamline based Soft X-ray spectroscopies on Energy Materials" (joint established by Soochow University and University of Science and Technology of China) has finished its engineering demonstration. There were 4 experts from China Acamedy of Science invited to the engineering demonstration review meeting to evaluate the rationality and practicability of this beamline's engineering project.

During the meeting, Professor Qiuping Wang introduce the details of the project, and the experts gave their own advise. After the experts' discussion, "Synchrotron Beamline based Soft X-ray spectroscopies on Energy Materials" engineering project has been approved. This is a milestone for the beamline construction.
